Welcomes New CEO
J. Michael Mastej
Chief Executive Officer
Mike Mastej, new CEO of Bonita Community Health Center, joined BCHC on February 4th, 2008 with 35 years of healthcare experience.
Prior to joining Bonita Community Health Center Mastej was responsible for the development, construction and opening of the new hospital in East Naples, Collier Regional Medical Center. From 2001 through 2006 he served as Vice President of Acquisitions for the Naples based Health Management Associates. From 1989 to 2001 Mastej was employed by Universal Health Services, Inc. Over that period of time he served as Group Director, CEO and during the last two years as Director of Development. Mr. Mastej was also employed by Humana for a period of 12 years serving as a CEO in various locations including London, England.
Mr. Mastej has an undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame. He hales from Detroit, Michigan. He and his wife Lucy, an Augusta, Georgia native, live in Bonita Springs with their two Dalmatians. The have a married daughter living in Atlanta and a son with two grandchildren in Augusta.
