Surgical Scrub Tech



This position is Full Time with no weekends, nights or holidays required.

The Surgical Scrub Tech provides assistance to surgeons during surgical procedures and maintains the function and sterility of equipment and supplies in the Operating Room. Ensures all necessary supplies and equipment are readily available for each surgery case.

Basic Requirements for this position:

  • High School Diploma
  • Surgical Technologist certification
  • BLS Certification
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Scrub Tech in the OR, Endoscopy and SPD

Applicants should be available to work M-F variable shifts. No weekends or holidays required.

Weekend PRN Radiology Tech



BCHC PRN RADIOLOGICAL TECHNOLOGIST

Position reports to Director of Imaging

 

Basic Minimum Requirements for this position are:

ARRT and State of Florida R.T. license required.

BLS certification required.

1 year minimum experience preferred.

 

Applicants should have knowledge of radiation safety, advanced imaging techniques and protocols to produce quality x-ray images; good computer skills; and a working knowledge of Order Entry and PACS systems.  Applicant should also be able to work independently with offsite support when needed.

Weekend shifts: Saturday and Sunday 8-4 with occasional weekdays.

Urgent Care RN



Urgent Care RN

Full Time

Position reports to the Director of Urgent Care and works directly with patients.

 

  • Assess and triage patients based on acuity

  • Provide direct patient care and general nursing care

  • Administer prescribed medications to Urgent Care patients in accordance with standards of care

  • Educate patient and/or family about diagnostic procedures, medications, and discharge instructions

  • Prepare supplies and equipment and assist Providers during examinations, treatments, and procedures

  • Exemplary Customer Service skills in a fast paced environment

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the healthcare provider or Director of Urgent Care

     

    Basic Minimum Requirements for this position are:

     

    RN Licensed in the State of Florida

    BLS

    ACLS

    Urgent Care experience is required. ER experience preferred

     

    Candidate must have flexibility with scheduling. Some weekend commitment required. Hours of operation are 7am to 7pm M-F and 8am-4pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Patient Access/Registration Associate

Position reports to the Billing Manager and works directly with patients.

 

Basic Minimum Requirements for this position are:

 

Knowledgeable of accepted insurances at BCHC and the procedure to follow for the patients who are out-of-network or self-pay

  • Fundamental knowledge of insurances

  • Counsel patients on financial obligations

  • Obtain and update all necessary patient, demographic, and insurance information

  • Print all necessary forms

  • Must be able to work independently as part of a team

  • Multi Tasker, Bi-lingual a plus

  • Allscripts experience a plus

  • Ensure patientís initial record is created correctly with all documents and authorizations

  • Exemplary Customer Service skills in a fast paced environment

  • Other job duties as requested

     

    Must have flexibility to work available hours of 7am-5pm.

Volunteers at Bonita Community Health Center play a vital role in the operation of the health center. They are an integral part of our health care team, providing additional support for patients and staff.

Without the help of volunteers donating their time, the health center would not be able to provide some its services and programs. Bonita Community Health Center provides a wide range of volunteer opportunities.
